2011 MLB trade deadline: We hardly knew ye
Yankee fans: No moves for you!
Take a look at the current roster, get to know these fellas and embrace ‘em. Because (barring a waiver deal) there will be no additions to the 2011 Pinstripers from any of the other major league rosters. For the first time since 1927, Brian Cashman did not make a deadline deal, opting instead to go to battle with this current group of Bombers into the 2011 postseason. FitzandVig still think that CC is missing his Plus 1, as Carsten Charles prepares for his stroll down the upcoming playoff red carpet without a suitable consort. Apparently, there were no upgrades available on the market, or at least no upgrades that the Cash-man was ready to pay for.
